Milton Reimers ranch park
Gorgeous grassland prairie and rocky hill country tech combine in this awesome 2427-acre park boasting 18 miles of trail, mostly intermediate in difficulty. The loops are well-planned and properly marked so it is very difficult to get lost out here. That said, the relative lack of shade means it is very easy to get a sunburn. This park can be pretty brutal in the summer months, so it is best enjoyed during cooler weather.
The Pedernales river cuts through the park and provides a great option to cool off should you decide to brave the heat. The park is also well used by rock climbers and anglers; however, camping is prohibited.
