Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park is most likely Austin’s busiest trail network. There is something here for everyone except perhaps the most hardcore shredders, but there are still some challenging spots here. Inner and Outer Log Loops are two trails that are very well known, and a step-down at Powerline Hill looks intimidating but is actually very approachable. Austin Ridge Riders hosts their Sunday group ride here, and Dirty Church happens on the same morning at the Walnut Creek Pump Track.

A concrete path cuts through the park and makes navigation much easier than it used to be. There are numerous hikers who enjoy Walnut Creek; you will need to be mindful of pedestrians and off leash dogs. Remember trail etiquitte! Pedestrians have the right-of-way.
