GS57 Birthday Ride

A note from Dale: This is a birthday ride for my buddy Greg Stevens, an avid Austin cyclist, one of the Crank N Drank ride leaders, podcast creator, car enthusiast, former Austin Ridge Riders board member, and all around great dude. This is defintely going to be a fun ride.

Thanks to Derek Hansen, this route comes in at 57 miles and almost nothing is repeated.  There is a ton of great trail out on the eastern edge of Austin and we're gonna ride it!  Some of it is pretty spicy, so bring your A-game.  The ride is self-supported and convenience stores are few and far between.  We'll be hiding water in various places along the trail.  It's probably going to be warm, so be sure you're ready with water, electrolytes, and nutrition.

We'll be ending the ride at the Best Side Trails for the Five Finger Discount Jam.  Some of Austin's best slopestyle riders will be showing off those amazing jump lines there now.

It's gonna be an awesome day of biking and hanging out, so come out if you can!  If you're not feeling the full-pull, join for part of it and do as much as you like.  We'll have several bailout points along the way.

If you want to stay up to date on the planning, send Greg an email and he'll add you to the list!
