Austin Ridge Riders Razor Tooth Ride

  • Mary Moore Searight Park 907 West Slaughter Lane Austin, TX, 78748 United States (map)

This is a working ride to cut punji sticks and clear sightlines as part of a buildup to more involved trail work coming soon! Trimming and clearing is easy, fun, and yields immediate results! We will split into a few groups to clear spots that have been pre-flagged.

  • Bring a folding saw, or small loppers... whatever fits in your trail pack, and a pair of gloves.

  • Do NOT bring power tools!

  • ARR will have limited tools on hand for those who need them.

  • Depending on weather, long sleeves and pants are recommended; brush can get scratchy!

  • If you are a TMBRA racer, this is Pay Dirt eligible.

Meet at the picnic tables under the roof of the pavilion by the main lot: 907 W Slaughter Ln, Austin, TX 78748

The Austin Ridge Riders is YOUR local not-for-profit Mountain Bike Club. ARR builds and maintains the trails we all enjoy.

The vision for Mary Moore Searight Park is a combination of routine maintenance (lopping face slappers, fixing erosion/drainage issues, etc.) as well as ADDING FLOW & FUN (berms, rollers, log features) while continuing to recognize the trails' multi-use status (hikers, runners, dogs, etc.).

If you are not yet a member of ARR, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TODAY.

Please sign the waiver online (or you can do the day-of via the paper sign-in sheet).
