It was 60 miles and 6,000’ feet of elevation on trail. By far and away the longest I’ve ever ridden on my mountain bike.

Not with a bang, but with a whimper. That’s how it felt crossing the finish line at Big Sugar in Bentonville this past Saturday.

Maybe it’s beginner’s luck, but I didn’t anticipate winning my first trail race!

This was my first time attending Dirty Church service at the Walnut Creek pump track!
