Route Notes
If trail conditions are poor, route will be gravel and road.
Night Ride season is here. YOU WILL NEED LIGHTS!
Start off with "Double Vision" to the gravel path, under Escarpment, and WEST on "No Walk" to "Forbidden Fenceline." Head SOUTH to "Bandit Shorty" and continue south on "Phoenix South," through the neighborhood, and "Starting Gate/Onion Park" to the golf cart path under Hwy 45. CLIMB the bridge embankment on the south side of the cart path and enter the golf club along the grass road frontage. From there take the "Golf Course" trail westbound to the road crossing and Bear Lake by the elementary school (the OG Meridian Entrance, not the one going to Highline). Once at Bear Lake, loop south then north along "Dam Straight" to "Elementary Flyby" going from the east side of the lake, around the north, to the west side. Drop through the creek crossing and proceed SOUTH on "Bowling for Glory." Once at the bottom of the bowl, take "Ski Lift" (jeep track) back UP/NORTH to the top of the bowl and back down on "Four Ledges." Once at the bottom a second time, continue south on the jeep track but hang a LEFT at the first entrance you see climbing up to enter "Meridian Highline." I have never used this entrance into Highline but it is on the Strava heatmap...so it must exist, lol. Once on "Highline" continue east until you get to the descent that goes through the pipeline right-of-way (transition from "Highline" to "15th Hole")...take the PIPELINE to the Bear Lake Jeep Track and climb up and out to Avana. In Avana, take "Heaven's Gate" EAST and then north on "Avana Connector NB" to Hwy 45. Once at Hwy 45, head back to "Onion Park/Starting Gate" on "Median Well Westbound" and end the ride with "Phoenix North," [EDIT: TAKE PHOENIX SOUTH back]to "Forbidden Fenceline" to "Walk in the Park," under Escarpment, "Northbank" back to shop.
Meet behind ATX Bikes. Please do not park behind Domino’s Pizza, or in front of Austin Diagnostic Clinic!
